Abstract

This study is to investigate the effectiveness of lecturers of Politeknik Melaka based on teaching and learning (PDP) score. The scope of this research is to view the impact of efficacy lecturers of Politeknik Melaka are willing to teach and whether the lecturers who have taught a high readiness efficacy have high scores in monitoring teaching and learning. The instrument used to look at the level of efficacy is through questionnaires to the 44 lecturers and for scores obtained from the monitoring teaching and learning report for the session Polytechnic Melaka June 2013. The study is divided into three stages, namely the analysis of the efficacy analysis, teaching and learning June session 2013 and analysis of efficacy by monitoring PDP scores each respondent. Min to score efficacy and achievement scores monitoring PDP session in June 2013 did not demonstrate findings consistent or positive where findings scores efficacy is at the level of the score 4:23 shows the interpretation that is ready and the likelihood that high but the findings mean the monitoring is to score 82% ie at a satisfactory level. This finding is reinforced by the findings of the analysis of efficacy scores and achievement scores for individual monitoring PDP where researchers can see not necessarily respondents with high efficacy score or so willing scored monitoring very satisfactory.
