The Politeknik & Kolej Komuniti Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (PMJSSH) is an open-access, peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Jabatan Pendidikan Politeknik dan Kolej Komuniti (JPPKK) under the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia.

PMJSSH provides a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, practitioners and professionals to disseminate original, high-quality research and to promote the exchange of knowledge, research findings and scholarly perspectives at national and international levels.

PMJSSH is published twice a year, in June and November.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

• Social Sciences
• Arts and Humanities
• Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)

PMJSSH welcomes original research articles, review articles and other scholarly works that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice within its scope. Interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary studies relevant to the journal’s scope are also encouraged.

PMJSSH is an open-access journal, which means that its content is freely available to users and their institutions without charge. Articles published in PMJSSH are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) Licence.

PMJSSH is indexed by MyJurnal, Google Scholar and ROAD (Directory of Open Access Scholarly Resources).
