Penggunaan Aplikasi Rangkaian Sosial Dalam Kalangan Pelajar Politeknik Kuala Terengganu

Abstract

The use of social networking applications has been widely used nowadays and it's a lot of good if utilized.Therefore, this study was conducted to identify the purpose of the use of social networking applications and their relationship with students and the courses they taken. The sample for this study consisted of 162 students who take the program Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Communications) and Diploma in Information Technology (Programming) offered at the Polytechnic Kuala Terengganu. Questionnaires were used as the research instrument. The objective of the study was to identify the use of social networking applications for the purpose of learning and social goals. In conclusion, the student at the Polytechnic Kuala Terengganu can make use of social networking applications with a variety of learning methods such as learning kolaboratif. Educators can download teaching materials through social networking applications in the form of more attractive as in multimedia format because it is effective in the delivery of science and able increase interest and academic achievement.
