Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the types of errors made by students on the topic of integration. The types of errors selected in this study are transformation errors, negligence and process skills. This study also aims to examine the level of students' mastery of the basic questions and integration application of Mathematics Engineering 2 (DBM2013). Respondents of the study consisted of 84 Semester 2 students from Diploma in Electrical Engineering (DET2C), Mechatronics Engineering Diploma (DEM2B) and Diploma in Geomatic Engineering (DGU2A) at Tuanku Sultanah Bahiyah Polytechnic. The results showed that the students' basic questions of integration topics in low level with a mean value is 1.32. While the students' questions of integration applications also in low level with a mean value is 1.25.
