Abstract

Entrepreneurship advisors is a service to help the entrepreneurs to face the challeges of entrepreneurship world in terms of social and physcial environment. This guidance covers the role played by an organization, including individuald who provide various advisory services, expecially in entrepreneurship. In Malaysia, the institutions that are being reffered and involved in providing entrepreneurial guidance are government agencies, ministries and banks. The guidance given is for the new entrepreneurs as well as propective entrepreneurs especially IPT students. In line with the definition of entrepreneurship guidance, community college play a role as a development institution for entrepreneurship. This is because there are various programmes, training, courses, workshops, seminars and entrepreneurial education are implemented at the college. However, the study of community college’s role as an entrepreneurial institution is still under discussion and ongoing. Previous research highlights the influence of psychology and entrepreneurial education on entrepreneurial intentions. Therefore, there is a question on how community collegers can serve as guides that can connect the students with real world of entrepreneurship. Based on the concept of entrepreneurial guidance explained, this article will review on the role of community college as a guiding institution that help to transforms intentions into the real entrepreneurship.
