Peer Review Process

The articles should be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere at the time of submission to the Politeknik & Kolej Komuniti Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (PMJSSH) or during the review process.

The Politeknik & Kolej Komuniti Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (PMJSSH) is an open-access journal that uses a single-blind peer-review process. All articles submitted for consideration are reviewed by at least two international reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area, who are appointed by the editors. All peer-review reports are submitted electronically and anonymously through the journal's database. The identities of the reviewers are kept confidential by the journal to preserve the integrity of the single-blind peer-review process.

Manuscripts submitted by members of the journal's Editorial Board are subjected to the same peer-review procedures and editorial standards as all other submissions.

The editors appoint two experts in the relevant fields to evaluate each manuscript submitted for publication. If there is a significant discrepancy between the reviewers' recommendations, a third reviewer may be appointed. After the author submits the final revised version of the manuscript, it is re-evaluated by the reviewers and the editor to determine whether it is suitable for publication.

Fee Policy

No fee is charged from the author or institution under any name. The PMJSSH is a non-profit journal and publication is completely free of charge.
