About the Journal

The Politeknik & Kolej Komuniti Journal of Engineering and Technology (PMJET) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, multidisciplinary journal that publishes original research and scholarly contributions in engineering technology and related fields. The journal welcomes research addressing technological developments, innovative solutions, emerging applications, and industry-relevant challenges, with particular emphasis on contributions that support Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and the advancement of engineering technology.

Published by the Jabatan Pendidikan Politeknik dan Kolej Komuniti (JPPKK) under the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia, PMJET provides a scholarly platform for researchers,  academics, practitioners, and industry professionals to disseminate research that connects academic knowledge with industrial practice. The journal encourages contributions that promote technological innovation, industry–academia collaboration, applied research, and the development of industry-ready talent.

Aim of the Journal

PMJET aims to disseminate quality, original, and relevant research in engineering technology and related disciplines. The journal seeks to provide a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and industry professionals to share research findings, innovative approaches, technological developments, and critical insights that contribute to the advancement of engineering technology and TVET.

PMJET particularly welcomes research that demonstrates practical relevance, technological innovation, industry applicability, and meaningful contributions to education and professional practice.
