Open Access & Archiving
The Politeknik & Kolej Komuniti Journal of Engineering and Technology (PMJET) provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Open Access Statement
The PMJET adheres to the Budapest Open Access Initiative and defines its Open Access policy according to the definition developed in the original BOAI:
By “open access” to peer-reviewed research article, we mean its free availability on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself. The only constraint on reproduction and distribution, and the only role for copyright in this domain, should be to give authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly acknowledged and cited. Refer to the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).
Archiving Policy
This journal utilises the Jabatan Pendidikan Politeknik & Kolej Komuniti and MyJurnal servers to create distributed and permanent archives for preservation and restoration purposes. MyJurnal server is administered by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia. Refer to MyJurnal.
