Hubungkait Antara Objektif Kokurikulum Dengan Pemahaman Etika Profesional Pelajar di Kolej Komuniti Paya Besar
Abstract
Learning about professional ethics is much applied in the co-curriculum subjects at the Paya Besar Community College (KKPB). The purpose of this study is to examine the level of early understanding of students on professional ethics based on variables that have elements that contribute to student understanding such as awareness arising after engaging in any of the co-curriculum subjects offered for the General Studies subject of Paya Besar Community College. The population of the study is the students who are in KKPB for each semester which is undergoing co-curriculum activities at KKPB. The number of samples was 30 people. The number of samples was obtained through a questionnaire as a research instrument for collecting data. The data were analyzed using the Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS) ver 21.0 to obtain mean value analysis and Pearson Correlation Test. The results of the study showed that the level of early understanding of the professional ethics of students was high (mean = 4.41). The findings of this study are useful in assisting prospective employees especially students as well as those involved in managing the co-curriculum activities ie college management, especially the Lecturer of the General Studies Unit to arrange a more systematic teaching strategy based on co-curricular objectives designed for each field ie sports, club / and uniformed bodies to create effective teaching and subsequently produce potential caliber workers.
